Hi,

Could those of you familiar with Ubuntu's Rosetta let us know
their experiences and other info on that system?

What I'm interested in is why we need more than one "master"
translation database. Open source projects already have their own
SVN, CVS or other repositories, now we have Rosetta which (for me)
seems to be independent of those SVNs, and what's even worse,
Linspire also created a Rosetta-like system called IRMA:

http://irma.linspire.com/

If I'm not mistaken (I hope I am), this means that in the future
we will have at least 3 independently maintained translations for
a lot of open source applications.

Anyone with info on Rosetta and/or IRMA please let us know what
you think.

Arpad Biro
