No, you’re wrong. Using the same slug than the English one works elsewhere, e.g.: https://inkscape.org/fr/apprendre/faq/ Look there: https://inkscape.org/admin/cms/page/596/delete/ The page having number 596 is listed, but there’s like a child of it which has number 602. This child has the French slug ‘sponsors’ and I can’t manage to change or remove it. The given link: https://inkscape.org/admin/cms/page/602/change/ leads me to ‘Page Not Found’. > I named the page slug 'sponsors_fr' and adjusted the menu link. It’s still better than before.
