A UN*X filename may contains *any* characters except for '/' and
'\0'.  Including colons.  Regardless, it's probably not such a hot
idea to create a directory named "bin:".

An oddity of csh is that it will let you put such "colonized"
directories in your path, by saying "set path=($path bin:)".
