I discussed it about a year ago here... finally got around to uploading. Inline::Spew takes a spew grammar in the form described at:
http://www.stonehenge.com/merlyn/LinuxMag/col04.html and caches the compilation of that into a data structure, so that it can be re-used rapidly (without loading Parse::RecDescent to first compile the grammar-grammar, then grammar, each time).
