Hi Brad,
It seems VS8 works OK to compile the code. Instead I think there might
be something wrong with the configuration in the sense of paths, or with
Swig runtime environment. In WrapITK with ITK 3.2X builds there was this
dynamic library SwigRuntimePython.dll, but it doesn't feature in ITK 4.X
builds. Is it because the structure of WrapITK changed significantly and
SwigRuntimePython.dll's functionality is wrapped into something else?
Also, I'd be reluctant to downgrade to MSVS2005.
Matt says he's looking into WrapITK on his Windows machine, so I hope he
digs up something to resolve the issue.

Constantine

Have you tried using MS Visual Studio 2005 aka VS8?
I forget where I heard but at one point I heard some people got that
combination working.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply.
... WrapITK (Python) tests always fail in this build. I'm wondering if
it's because something's not right with the configuration? I've never been
able to have WrapITK work with Python in any of the 4.x releases. I'd
appreciate some feedback on this.
I know have a Windows machine and some time to investigate, so I will
take a look.
That would be great! I've been struggling with WrapITK for a while by
now. I can see the value of being able to do quick prototyping in Python
rather than in compiled C++ 'scripts', but so far it's been out of my reach.
I'm wondering whether anyone can share their experience with WrapITK
(Python) on Win64/Win32 machines?

the submissions seem to complete OK. Here's what I see in the log files:

Error in read script:

Is there something I can do to correct it? I haven't any idea how to debug
this script to see what causes the error.
When running a ctest script, using ctest -S script_file.cmake, the
"-V" flag or "-VV" flag can also be added to give more verbose output.
Tried -V, -VV. Same error message with no additional clues. I noticed
there's --debug argument for CTest. Will try it to see if it yields
anything useful.

Constantine
