Have you logged this as a bug? If you can log a bug and upload some test
data, I can have a look.

For testing purposes, you can just have two slices with two different
seriesUIDs.

I looked at the 3.20.1 itkGDCMSeriesFileNames.cxx versus the current
version, and the only change (besides formatting and comments) is that a
progress reporter was added.
