In 60 years of life, in 40 years in various churches, in 34 years of
ministry I have been shocked and astonished by many people.
Some are gifted, gracious, tolerant, understanding and a pleasure to
know. Some are obnoxious, conceited, opinionated, arrogant and generally
a pain in the proverbial. But I am continually shocked and astonished
that God loves them all. And (from Zac's story) came to seek the lost
(which ones are lost). If only I could be as gracious as God.

The baseball story realy is a parable of the Gospel - life giving self
sacrifice.

Peace,
Rob
