Make sure you set up the network information correctly.  Subnet is what
I'm thinking.  Check `ifconfig` and see if eth0 comes up.  If you are
using dhcp or bootp, you might have to tell the pcmcia package that you
are using it.  Config files are in /etc/pcmcia/network.opts.  If you only
have one cardctl scheme, you can just edit the *,*,*,*) subsections.  If
you aren't on a bootp type, go to the same file and fill in the
ip/gateway/subnet/network/broadcast and then either put your nameservers
in that list or directly in resolv.conf.  Also, on a couple networks I
tried, it wouldn't respond quickly.  I would have to wait several minutes
and re-init the card for it to recognize it was on a network (and the
light to come on).  On my local network, I just insert the card and the
light pops right on, so I don't know what is different.  Maybe the other
networks have too much traffic.
