Thank you very much for your detailled answer.

Unfortunately I do not find the corresponding directory tree when mounting the
cdrom.
Maybe x86 cd are different from sparc ones ?
I am running on a sparc machine (Enterprise450).

Here is my trial to find the package on the installation CD:
# ls /dev/removable-media/dsk
c1t6d0s0 c1t6d0s1 c1t6d0s2 c1t6d0s3 c1t6d0s4 c1t6d0s5 c1t6d0s6 c1t6d0s7
# mount -o ro /dev/removable-media/dsk/c1t6d0s1 /mnt/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom
# ls
a dev kernel opt reconfigure tmp
bin devices lib platform sbin usr
cdrom etc mnt proc system var
# find . -name 'SUNWgzip'
# find . -name 'SUNWzlib'
./tmp/root/var/sadm/pkg/SUNWzlib
./tmp/root/var/sadm/pkg/SUNWzlib/save/pspool/SUNWzlib

I think ./tmp/root/var/sadm does not contain the actual packages, just
information on the installed packages (this is just a guess).
I tried the 6 cdroms without any success.

If you can help me locate the package on the cdrom that would be wonderful ;)
Thank you for your help !

Best Regards,
Ixar
