Tthis component/service exists in recognition that there are occasionally parts of the installation or upgrade process which must be deferred to after the installed/upgraded instance is running, and so we've put a placeholder in for it which will need some investigation and clarification. Most of what sysidtool does today is either covered in other parts of the installer, or is replaced by the functionality delivered by the Network Automagic project, so I don't presently expect it will live here. > Then, what is this "Discovery Phase"? > Is it the phase, where the system tries to get most of the things like > drivers, interfaces, etc automatically?
