This link is a example of setting up a named service on Solaris 
http://developers.sun.com/solaris/technotes/named.html ( slightly out of date, 
written for a older version of named back in 2000, I had email the sun website 
to update this link )  Then add the named dns environment your jumpstart 
sysidcfg file.
