I have asked questions about my lucreate problems on solarisx86, but they
are not solved (yet). Sobody mentioned the real experts are here, so..
The *only* suggetion I had this far is that before running the
liveupgrade20 install script from s10u5 I first had to *uninstall* the
SUNWluxxx packages from s10u3.
I really would like some help on this one.
The problem description is in the following text I wrote earlier:
=========
I did it for the third time. Now with a log file. Hmm, that one is
small. Anyway, everything went well, except for the last part.
The zone ERROR </tmp/.lucopy.cpio_err.11005.yanta> is simply this:
cpio: Cannot open "./root/opt/csw/var/cyrus/config/socket/lmtp",
skipped, errno 122, Operation not supported on transport endpoint
2083808 blocks 1 error(s)
This doesn't seem harmful.
The logfile created by lucreate only has:
new request cannot find provider for service=<getLogicalDeviceList>
ERROR: Zone <yanta> in BE <s10u3>: cannot copy root
See </tmp/.lucopy.cpio_err.11005.yanta> for details.
ERROR: Unable to remount ABE <s10u5>: cannot make ABE bootable
ERROR: Unable to make boot environment <s10u5> bootable.
ERROR: Unable to populate file systems on boot environment <s10u5>.
ERROR: Cannot make file systems for boot environment <s10u5>.
I'm clueless on this one. It's on s10u3 with the latest patches
including 121431 and 121429 (Live Upgrade patches).
So again the BE is not complete; non-bootable.
WHY? And what can I do about it?

[first message]
When I run "lucreate -c s10u3 -n s10u5 /:c1d0s0:ufs" everything works,
except for the very last part. Making boot envirenment s10u5 bootable.
This fails. lustatus gives: no no no yes; it can only be removed
again.
At first I thought it had someting to do with a copy error in one of
the zones. They were duplicated allright, but one
file /zones/yanta/root/opt/csw/var/cyrus/config/socket/=lmtp could not
be copied. So I disabled the cyrus service, removed the new s10u5 BE
and tried again with no luck.
Has anybody ANY idea where to look?
I realy thought it would be easy.
If you need a log I have to try it agin with the -l option.
