I have converted OpenSolaris 2008.05 to UFS, so as to use pygrub. But it seems that IPS relies on ZFS root - is that so? In which case my converted image will not be able to "pkg uninstall" or "pkg install" reliably.
Does IPS work with UFS? In which case I can build up a UFS image with the IPS utilities. Thank you. This message posted from opensolaris.org
