There is no default. gnome-keyring-manager asks for a password the first time it's invoked (at least it has on every machine I've installed 2008.05 on to). I've sometimes seen the window asking for the initial password not appear on top and so almost set a bogus password because I thought I was typing somewhere else. You could try deleting the ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring file (which will blow away the keyring). Cheers, Glenn
