Not at the moment, now, but the need is obvious, and we're working on it.

They can only be installed from a repo, but you can run a depot server
anywhere and point to it.  So once you have a place on your filesystem
where you have all the right bits (cf local mirroring above), then running
a depot isn't a big deal.  We'll probably end up making the firing-up of
the depot server a hidden thing, but that's probably a ways off still,
depending on how fast Shawn goes down that path.
