It is likely a memory issue. The Gnome desktop cannot come up since 
there is not enough memory. We should do a better job of notifying the 
users when we believe they do not have the minimum required memory to 
boot the livecd.  Not sure if we have a bug open on this issue or not, 
but I will check and file one if we don't.
