I'm assuming that this is not OpenSolaris since live upgrade isn't available for OpenSolaris. The default ZFS setup in OpenSolaris is based on the default ZFS setup in Nevada as of build 88 when ZFS boot was delivered. The ZFS setup used in both Nevada and OpenSolaris should be in agreement with PSARC/2006/370.
