Tim:

This is a known issue and the bugid is 6679401 (additional pfinstall 
dependency issue with various
ELC/ALC  locales in snv_86). It will be fixed in snv_87. Workaround is
to too add SUNWlang-en and SUNWlang-en-extra. Otherwise you cannot login 
with en_US* locales.

Unfortunately en_US is among the locales that are broken.  You need to 
ignore the warnings in snv_86.

In snv_86, all the G11N packages had been revamped for Indiana delivery.
