i have read about pdo and dryrun in the forum but without the RFE and the official documentation only a small group knows about it.
i read often about the recommended way LU but we have a zones only environment and wait since 03/05 for LU+zones support. we have also the seperate slices for second ABE since 03/05 on the bootdisks. i test LU at the moment with a u4 system to look at the internals. on our systems we have ca. 5 - 15 zones ( 90% type sparse ), every zone had a seperate root filesystem or slice. lucreate create the copies of this filesystems/slices to the global-zones root filesystem of the second abe, this root filesystem is only 8gb. how can i tell lucreate to copie every zoneroot slice/fs to a seperate slice? thanks mario This message posted from opensolaris.org
