this wheel already exists elsewhere and there's an open RFE to import it
into solaris:
6218640 should import NetBSD mailwrapper/mailer.conf to allow
packaging-friendly sendmail replacement.
.. so there's no need to reinvent it. Given infinite time I would have
done it myself but, well..
It looks slightly bigger than a bite-size bug (would require an ARC
fasttrack). Anyone who wants to run with it should coordinate with John
Beck since he's currently listed as the responsible engineer.
