The most ubiquitous dhcp servers are those so-called broadband routers that everyone uses nowadays which will be connected to his/her broadband modem (cable, dsl, or WiMax). They don't provide hostnames. As a result, almost every Solaris newbie will come to face this "unknown hostname" annoyance. I remember having come across a script in one of Sun's blogs which is intended to solve this annoyance. I couldn't find it. Does anyone know where it is? Thanks.
