I'm one of those customers :-/ I opened a support case on it and was told to use the LU packages from sol10u3 (11/06) instead. Those appear to (mostly) work, but I'm uncomfortable doing that and when the new BE is on a different disk the GRUB foo isn't automatically relocated the way that I've seen various walkthroughs show that it should be. Glad I found the above workarounds, though - wish Sun had been able to provide them.
