Hi,

As of today I think you can install Solaris 8 only from a Solaris 8
active miniroot (exported boot image) and a Solaris 10 from Solaris 10
active miniroot. I just used them that way.
However with the help of lofiadm tools you can install multiple
clients (running multiple servers) from the same machine  just messing
their paths in bootparams file.
I don't know if there are some hacks... maybe somebody else...
