Just a quick observation about solaris 10 that is a little annoying. Perhaps 
this is already fixed in nevada. I don't know.

I mostly use OpenBSD on my computers. If I then at a later date install 
solaris, then it will bomb out with "disk not formatted" after I have answered 
loads of questions. To fix boot an openbsd bootdisk (or any linux one, you just 
need a shell).

cat /dev/zero > /dev/rwd0c

(device nodes will vary for linux bootdisks)

Leave that to run for 10 seconds or so for good measure, then ^C. This will 
blast away any fdisk table on the disk.

Now you can install solaris.

Anyway. It would be nice if the installer could:

a) Check to see if disks are usable _before_ asking loads of questions.
b) Even better. Offer to re-initialize the disk.
