First, you should be sure you look at the docs for data on how to use 
jumpstart:

Can you give me a few more details on how you are using jumpstart:

1. Are you booting from a network image or cd/dvd?
2. Where is your profile located, in a network location or on a floppy 
drive?
3. If your profile is on the network how did you specify this data when 
running add_install_client? If it is on a floppy is the profile in the 
top level directory?
