And how long does a Solaris flash install take?  Mere minutes, I'd guess?


Also, the "typical" experience is much worse as comments on the
blog suggest: more like 50 minutes for the typical user.

(That they didn't need to hunt down device drivers is typical
for new Windows releases; they generally have support for nearly everything
when they come out but that quickly deteriorates when new systems are
released and you become increasingly dependent on your vendor for the
Windows drivers)

And, oh,it takes around 20 minutes to install an Ultra 40 with Solaris 
Nevada, ordinary jumpstart install over 100Mbit ethernet.

Typical upgrades take +/- 35 minutes.
