Hi I was using fs-usr as an example, the idea is that start/exec for all the offending svc scripts would point to some dummy exit 0, thereby not involving any major sugery and just involve rebuilding the miniroot repository. The generic patches woudl be free to deliver whatever content they wished to these scripts, but the miniroot repository would have the start/exec for these scripts modified to not run the official generic ones.
