StarOffice 8 / OpenOffice 2.0 application packages don't use scripts and are fully relocatable (Disclaimer: does not apply to the desktop integration packages). Needless to say that they don't require setuid files. Not being able to install OpenOffice.org without root privileges was the biggest concern in the community when switching to Solaris pkg for installation. bye Christof
