A few more points to bring up, as per discussion with Dave (quick summary):
(this concerns DHCP / JumpStart references in Dave's paper) a) configuring the DHCP server to supply booting and installation information for a JumpStart(TM) Flash(TM) should be easy and painless b) the DHCP server should be capable of supplying enough information to have IPMP automatically configured after the flash c) the tools to manipulate the DHCP server for these tasks should not make it harder to configure the DHCP server to do b) afterwards d) as an option, the tools provided for a) and b) could be extended to also encompass / make c) easier.
