When you run luupgrade the AF (BE in 6477759) should be unmounted with luumount
as a work around, for both 10u3 or if your using 10u4 as your BE, before you
run lucreate/luupgrade run the smpatch analize ( if you had setup your
sunsolve.sun.com account un the upgrade mamagement tool ) and apply all the
patches shown in that order, then run from the DVD or setup_install_server
jumpstart image the Solaris_1X/installer/upgrade20 this is recommended anyway
as best practices and noted in the man pages in checkigng sunsovle.sun.com for
the lates patches, I then I was able to lucreate, luupgrade and luactivate the
AF env and boot into it.
