Just out of curiosity, does anyone in the opensolaris developer community realize just how insane these nitnoid rules sound outside their own little bubble? I've been struggling with Nevada build 78 for several days now, trying to get it installed on a selection of virtual and physical hardware, and it always ends up with some absolutely crazy scenario, just as a message that the install failed, backed up by NO error messages of any sort in the log. Feh. So I installed Solaris 10 update 4 and now am attempting to upgrade to b78 using the Solaris Express installer. Maybe that will work, or maybe I'll have lost another 2 hours out of my life to yet another lousy installer that runs for just long enough to lose my interest then wants another dribble of information. Gah! This message posted from opensolaris.org
