own computers without troubles like this.

The computer is at home right now so I can't check, but I think you are
saying that near the beginning of the text based installer I will have
the option to load the correct driver. I'll need to remove the SXDE DVD
from the drive, insert the driver CD and tell SXDE where the driver is.

The computer came with Solaris 10 installed. I was afraid that if I SXDE
can't be installed properly and I have to erase all partitions to put
Solaris 10 back on, I would encounter the same installation problem in
the Solaris 10 installer.

After installation would Solaris try to load the graphical login screen,
fail, then offer a text console login for me to do this?
