That only gains you a few percentage points.

We're talking about a factor 10 of performance lost because of bunzip2;
the compiler will not find that.

Unfortunately, the Solaris binary packages do not fall in that category.

Specifically, for net installs I'd like to be able to run "bunzip2togzip"
to make installs faster.
