Hello, LiveUpgrade for Zones was integrated in build 52-53, the documentation for Solaris Express already covered the LU + Zones part.
i have tested it with build 62 and our standard setup for zones. this means every zone has a separate Root Filesystem, 2gb for small zones and 6gb for big zones mostly a SDS/VXVM device on SAN storage. the tests show that LU cant handle this setup ( separate rootFS for zones ), only when the zone rootFS is in the global zone rootFS (not separate) LU works like a charm. the examples in the SolarisExpress documentation only show Zones without separate root filesystems. is this the normal behavior ? thanks, mario This message posted from opensolaris.org
