Christian, I think you would have run into 6413235, but the problem seems to be before that. It seems like your solaris2 partition reaches beyond what the installers thinks is the disk size.
The solaris2 partiton ends at: Rsect + Numsect == 134889512 + 21411936 = 156301448 However the disk only has 63 * 255 * 9729 = 156296385 Christian Kelly wrote: > more details... > > the installer seems to call the following fdisk command a couple of times for > each disk. > > /sbin/fdisk -n -R -v -W - /dev/rdsk/c2d1p0 > > When I run that I get: > > * /dev/rdsk/c2d1p0 default fdisk table > * Dimensions: > * 512 bytes/sector > * 63 sectors/track > * 255 tracks/cylinder > * 9729 cylinders > ... > some id's of partitions > ... > * > * Id Act Bhead Bsect Bcyl Ehead Esect Ecyl > Rsect Numsect > 238 0 254 63 1023 254 63 > 1023 1 409639 > 175 0 254 63 1023 254 63 > 1023 409640 134217728 > 191 0 254 63 1023 254 63 > 1023 134889512 21411936 > > This looks sensible.
