1. Run the svcadm restart svc:/network/nfs/server 2. Also check your /etc/bootparams and make sure the server name not set in the file but use the IP should be in file, since the -n option is set to file and you do not have a NIS or ldap container server setup and check the nsswitch.conf file for the host entry has files then dns entry
3. Check the ether file is setup in /etc for the client. 4. When you run the setup_install_client use the -n files option and use a IP address not a hostname of the client and server 5.
