I installed nv_40 on an external USB drive. The system's BIOS can boot GRUB from the drive just fine, however, the system panics shortly thereafter because it's "unable to find rootpath".
Everything *seems* to point to the scsa2usb driver not being available during the kernel boot, to mount the / FS from a USB device. So the question is, how do I create the correct miniroot image, and which drivers should I include in it in order to be able to boot from a USB drive? This message posted from opensolaris.org
