I hit this error when upgrading my system from SXCR snv_33 to snv_37 "The upgrade script terminated abnormally".
Here're some more details and how I hit the error: Install method: network install between two x64 systems. - Solaris Interactive Text (Console session) - English - No IPv6 - No Kerberos - Name services: None - ... - "Standard" install - Media: Network File System - Option: Upgrade Initialization - reading install media ... - no extra language - POSIX C - no extra products - no Web Start Ready product Analyzing system ... Checking modified files ... Calculating database size of packages on system ... Analysis complete - no customize , continue Then there's a summarization, after hit F2-continue, it hits the error. Top bar in red: Error Screen in blue: "The upgrade script terminated abnormally" Bottom bar in green: F2_OK Hit F2, install comes back to the same error sceen, but no longer takes F2 (only shows ^[[255z ).
