Hi List,

I have installed Opensolaris snv_131 , but I am getting the error " The
file just loaded doesnot appear to be executable".

Please help me to rectify this booting error.

it sounds like you used the build 131 based Text Installer image, for
which that was known to occur for some SPARC machines. I'd suggest
re-installing using the build 134 image.

Alternatively, you could attempt the workaround listed in the bug:

http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=14322#c6

Workaround for this bug
=======================

a) After the system has been installed, boot it with the following
   command -

   ok boot -F /platform/`uname -m`/boot_archive

b) In the booted up environment -
   # rm /platform
   # cd /boot
   # mv platform ../

Hi keith,

Thanks; I have installed 134; now it's working fine.

thnaks,
