Keshava:

There is a couple of things that you can do:

1. I will suggest you try the latest 134 DVD iso and see whether this make the panic go away.

2. If it still cannot install, please boot with kmdb and get more information. You can get a digital camera and get some snapshot of what happen when you boot kmdb.

On x86, in the GRUB item, type "e" (for edit) and
then another "e" and then add '-B console=ttya -kdv' to the end of the kernel line
or before the -B options. Finally, press return to boot this entry.

This will cause the kernel debugger to load

     Loading kmdb...

     Welcome to kmdb
kmdb: unable to determine terminal type: assuming `vt100'
Loaded modules: [ unix krtld genunix ]
     [0]>

At the debugger, please do the following:

[0]> prom_debug/W 1
[0]> :c

When it panics and drop into debugger again, please get the following output:

[0]> $C
[0]> $<msgbuf
