This sounds like it might be the early kernel panic problem I saw in
b134 when the graphical boot screen is enabled.
As soon as I chose b134 on the grub menu, it would start to boot,
immediately panic, and reset the machine.

Fix was delivered into build 136.
OP uses OpenSolaris-137, so than this issue should be resolved, no?
