Hi,
I want to install open solaris so quite a few sparc sun blades some with dvds
some with cd can boot off my laptop.
ie I want a sparc jumstart server - just a boot server will do for the moment.

Follow these steps to create an OpenSolaris JumpStart install server to install
the Solaris 10 OS on client systems:
Install OpenSolaris 2010.05 on the machine that will be the JumpStart install
server.Download SXCE Latest Build....
OK I need to install opensolaris. Cannot find 2010.05.
So I figure osol-0906-x86.iso might do, cos I guess jumpstarting with
opensolaris was possible in 2009.
So using VM Workstation 7.0.1 create a new VM and boot up from the iso.
There seems be a problem with bringing the gui up.
So I shoot for text mode.
OK so far?
Anyhow I now have a snap-shotted root prompt on open solaris.
What should I do next?
Install to hard drive maybe?
How do I do that from the commandline?
