-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, It turns out my guesses were all wrong.
James, on the other hand investigated deeper and hit the nail on the head (as he usually does. :) ) The package you are trying to install is the wrong one for several reasons: 1) It's built for a SPARC machine not and X86 machine. 2) It's installer makes bogus wrong assumtptions. 3) The software contained in it is available elsewhere in a much easier format to install. I'm not sure of the exact package names, but you should be able to install Apache, and the other programs in that installer using just the 'pkg' tool. I beleive there is even a meta-package that will pull them all in at once. try these (depending on what OpenSolaris you have - one should work): pfexec pkg install amp - -or- pfexec pkg install web/amp -Kyle On 11/17/2010 12:55 PM, Antonio Orvieto wrote: > Thanks for all the responses :). > > I did what I understood > > anto...@opensolaris:~/Downloads$ > PATH=/usr/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/gnu/bin > anto...@opensolaris:~/Downloads$ export PATH > anto...@opensolaris:~/Downloads$ /usr/bin/sh > ./xampp-solaris-0.9.sh Do you want to install XAMPP?
