Sorry to break it to you, but OpenSolaris the distribution is dead. I'd suggest you either upgrade to Solaris 11 Express or OpenIndiana. Being project lead for OpenIndiana I have a bias towards it, as OpenIndiana is open source and free to use for any purpose. Solaris 11 Express has a somewhat restrictive license (It's free for eval purposes, otherwise you need to pay for it).
We have instructions here: http://wiki.openindiana.org/oi/Upgrading+from+OpenSolaris We also happen to maintain a copy of the old OpenSolaris /dev repo here if you're really desperate: http://pkg.openindiana.org/legacy/ However snv_134 is over a year and a half old. OpenIndiana oi_151a has both xVM (xen) and KVM, although the xVM bits are not maintained and we recommend not using it. KVM is new and great but requires Intel VMX support (We're hoping to add AMD support in the near future). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ install-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/install-discuss
