Following up this conversation, we have 5 jahia virtual sites (Jahia version 4.1.2). These sites are contained under the main domain name, for example
www.mysite.com/jahia/site/marketingsite www.mysite.com/jahia/site/financesite www.mysite.com/jahia/site/hrsite etc... We would like to have statistics for each site. Tomcat only writes 1 type of log recording only Jahia operations, for example: Jahia throws an exception error, Tomcat is restarted, web app is loaded, etc. On the other hand, IIS (version 6) writes a log file for the www.mysite.com <http://www.mysite.com/> site, but it contains all of our 5 sites under 1 log file, so AWStats cannot divide the statistics between each site then. Which is the best way to setup the sites and log files when running Jahia with Tomcat under IIS? Do we create virtual sites in Tomcat? Do we create the sites on IIS? ________________________________ From: Michel Romy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 13 April 2007 4:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Jahia and the statistics Hi Patrick, we are using standard tools like webalizer or awstats, which can use the logs outputed by tomcat to generate statistics. It will however not provide logs on who logs into Jahia, for this there is a module integrated in Jahia. You can find it in the administration panel of Jahia. Michel Hi, Which tools do you use to create any statistics for your jahia site Web ? Regards.
