Hi all, If somebody would tell me that PMTUD is dead in fact and should be deprecated then I would answer: Maybe. But such a big architecture decision (for both IPv6 and IPv4) should be discussed separately and carefully. It is not right to develop drafts with an assumption that PMTUD is already deprecated. Especially if the fragmentation is used as the work-around to missing PMTUD. Ed/
