So there is a lot of email on this list where folks reference documents (and 
indicate - just go read the document). No one actually writes down (briefly) 
how things work in email messages. To read documents, in there full entirety, 
as well as the references those documents make, takes hours. Most reviewers 
don't have the time for every author that wants specs reviewed to put this 
amount of time in.

I would suggest that people inline write *briefly* how something works. If you 
want a quality exchange of feedback, put the meat of the design in email. If 
you can't explain it in two sentences, the design is too complicated.

This email response is not referring to you Fred. I am just making a general 
comment.
