Hello all,

I am sharing an Internet-Draft of a new experimental protocol, SW103K, designed for layer-2 network compression and decompression. This draft is intended for early experimentation and community feedback before formal submission.

Draft link: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-rfcxml-rfc-swl-103k/

Key points for feedback:
1. Protocol header design and structure
2. Congestion control and UDP usage since we are doing a 103:1 compression ratio, am updating the draft to incliudecongestion, loss and fiarness data from ns3 and FABRIC testbeds
3. Security considerations
4. Interoperability with existing layer-2 networks and other commercial protocols
5. Any potential implementation challenges

We welcome:
- Comments, suggestions, and critiques
- Reference implementations or test results
- Suggestions for improvements or pitfalls

This draft is experimental and open for anyone to implement or test. Please note it is a work in progress and more revisions will follow.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise. Your feedback is invaluable to refining the protocol.

Best regards,
Katerega Michael
