Its not only about stateful address configuration; unsolicited
RAs with incomplete information can be followed by an RS/RA
exchange where the RA contains prefixes for SLAAC.


But i guess that Dave's point is what happens if the initial RS is lost, would the node retry with the RS after receiving the incomplete RADV in order to get a valid prefix and manage to configure a gloabl address? (i don't know what 2461 states about this...)

I mean, the question is if this approach of incomplete RADV is used, could a node recover and stateless autoconfigure a global address if the initial RS was lost?
