During the meeting yesterday, I made reference to a new draft titled: "DHCP Fragmentation and Reassembly":
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-templin-dhcpmtu-00.txt The intention is that this would apply to any case in which the DHCP client and server need to exchange long messages but IP fragmentation and reassembly might be problematic. The domain of applicability for this would be for any DHCP usage and not just the DHCP-AUTH stuff. But, I would also like to use it as a template for future documents that add similar support for other UDP applications. Any comments on it would be welcome.
